Old Town Square is one of the most popular and beautiful squares in Prague. The square features common tourist attractions such as the Old Town Hall with Astronomical Clock, the Gothic Church and the Church of St Nicholas.The square is located between Wenceslas Square and the Charles Bridge. The square is extremely popular with tourists all throughout the year, particularly in the summer season.
The center of Old Town Square is home to the statue of Jan Jus who was burned at the stake for his beliefs. The statue was erected on July 6th, 1915 to mark the 500th anniversary of his death.
The square is also lined with coffee houses, shops and high quality restaurants. The odd bar too!
